Why you have to control your weight

Nowaday, our society is full of overweight people.Overweight has negative effect on Health as list below
  • Coronary heart disease
  • Type 2 diabetes
  • Cancers (endometrial, breast, and colon)
  • Hypertension (high blood pressure)
  • Dyslipidemia (for example, high total cholesterol or high levels of triglycerides)
  • Stroke
  • Liver and Gallbladder disease
  • Sleep apnea and respiratory problems
  • Osteoarthritis (a degeneration of cartilage and its underlying bone within a joint)
  • Gynecological problems (abnormal menses, infertility)
Which overweight is defined as a body mass index (BMI) of 25 or higher; obesity is defined as a BMI of 30 or higher.

How to calculate BMI

BMI ( lbs/inches² )       (weight in pounds * 703 )
 = ————————————
               height in inches²

BMI ( kg/m² ) =             weight in kilograms
————————————
          height in meters²

BMI < 18.5 :     Underweight
18.5 -24.9   :Normal
25 - 29.9     :Overweight
BMI > 30   :Obese
